PLEASE NOTE

As the 17th November is a special feast day in Westphalia-on-Sea (the Day of San Pedro de Cocinero), commemorating its favourite son, there will be no more blog entries until Tuesday 20th November.

How will I cope for those empty days, especially now I've seen the latest picture of the Mayor astride a throbbing Harley-Davidson on the cover of this month's 'Phalia View? He's inside too. No wonder the pages of the local rag have been made conspicuous by his absence.

Obscure references to the man who bases his businesses in Belize in order to pay less tax in the UK, but seeks to influence Government here by funding the Tories in marginal seats, is taking obscure entries on this blog to new heights.

I'm sure that picture of Pangloss on his motor cycle will prove sufficient inspiration on your return...............

I would like to share with you my great new revenue-making idea for Westphalia-on-Sea Council in the Winter months. I think it's a winner especially now the grockles have gone and the cold days and dark nights are upon us! In fact this will apply in temperatures of 5c and under. Those Westphalians caught wearing T-shirts and vest tops a £25 on the spot fine. Those wearing the above plus shorts, a £250 penalty. Those brazen hussies wearing t-shirts, shorts and flip-flops or sandals will be sentenced to a £2,500 fine plus two weeks forced listening to Embalmed FM. I will be writing to Mr Pangloss forthwith.
